Kids Express
Our after-school recreation program is designed for all elementary school aged children, grades K-5. Everyone can benefit from character building activities and at Kids Express children experience a great deal of fun and creativity while they develop important social skills. Students learn about making and being a good friend through cooperative games, crafts and role play. Kids Express offers small groups and individualized programming where children can explore:
- Forming and sustaining friendships
- Creativity and self-expression
- Building conversation skills
- Problem solving and decision making
- Being a good team member
- Dealing with socially challenging situations
- New interests
- Enhancing self-esteem and confidence
Our 12 week program meets fall and spring, contracted to school districts at your schedule. Currently serving students in the 14 elementary schools in:
- Lakeland
- Somers
- Yorktown

- Directly after school at the school
- 1 X a week
- 12 weeks in the Fall and Spring terms.
- Registration September and January, information distributed by each school district
